Vaillant or Worcester Boilers

Vaillant or Worcester Bosch boilers, Which one is the best?

The top spot in the battle of the gas boiler always comes down to two makes, Vaillant or Worcester Bosch.

Both brands consistently come out on top with the consumer and installer for reliability and ease of use.

If these boilers were cars, they would be the BMW or Mercedes.

When it comes to cost, yes they are a little more expensive than the average boiler,
but the saying you only get what you pay for is true.

Both brands offer long warranties on their boilers of up to ten years,

These warranties are of no value unless an annual service is carried out and recorded.
Worcester was originally a British company before they joined the Bosch group, now known as the Worcester Bosch Group.

Vaillant, which originates from Germany is a family run business and started in business over 140 years ago.

Vaillant pioneered the very first combination boiler many years ago and as we all know,
is now the most installed boiler thought out Europe.
Both companies have won many awards over the years for their different models of boilers,
as well as their customer service, and are still winning awards today.

Boilers today are very complex in that now they are basically controlled via a mini computer which is built into the appliance.

Gone are the days when a boiler was a lump of cast iron, a thermostat and burner.
Now they are built to be environmentally friendly but, most importantly save on those high fuel bills.

So how do you choose a new boiler when you are looking to replace yours?

The first piece of advise I would give is to contact a boiler installer, ensure they are Gas Safe Registered to work on boilers.
Arrange an appointment with them to discuss your replacement boiler.
Once they arrive, ask as many questions as you can re the boiler re[placement.

The best thing to do is, before they arrive when you think of a question, write it down, that way you won’t forget.

One question to ask is, which brand of boiler do they recommend, Vaillant or Worcester?
Both companies offer a big range of models for both LPG and natural gas, as well as a wide range of energy-saving controls.

All in all, both Vaillant and Worcester boilers are the two to choose when looking for a new boiler.
